Jamie posted a couple weeks ago about his first encounters with hip hop and DMX’s influence on him. Well the first hip hop CD I ever purchased was Boys 2 Men and it just so happens they are playing tonight in Stamford for Alive @ 5. Their lyrics were the first I would consistently repeat and subsequently get wrong (not much has changed). Some years latter when I was in college, Jeff D liked to play the greatest hits album in our bathroom, but that’s a different story. I watched the latest Harold and Kumar last night. The movie was somewhat funny but the best part about it was the soundtrack.
